1. About Our Service
Herofy Stories creates personalised digital storybooks for children. Each story is generated by artificial intelligence (Anthropic's Claude) using the details you provide — your child's name, age, interests, and chosen story theme. The result is a unique, illustrated-format PDF storybook delivered as an instant digital download.
No two stories are identical. Each one is created specifically for the child and details you describe at the time of your order.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to place an order. By completing a purchase, you confirm that you are 18 years of age or older. If you are creating a story on behalf of a child, you confirm that you are that child's parent or legal guardian, or have obtained the permission of a parent or legal guardian.
3. What You're Purchasing
When you complete a purchase, you receive a single personalised PDF storybook based on the details you provided at checkout. Your story is:
- A digital product, delivered as a downloadable PDF file, not a physical book
- Available for instant download after payment is confirmed
- Length and vocabulary matched to the child's age, formatted for reading on screen or printing at home
- Generated specifically for your order and not re-used or resold
Because each story is created uniquely for your order, we are unable to swap it for a different story, theme, or child's details after purchase. Please review your order details carefully before completing payment.
4. AI-Generated Content
Stories are created using artificial intelligence. The specific words, plot structure, and narrative details in any given story are determined by the AI model based on your inputs. While we work to ensure all stories are appropriate, engaging, and child-friendly, we cannot guarantee that every story will meet any particular creative expectation beyond being a personalised children's story based on the information you provided.

5. Your Licence
Your purchase grants you a personal, non-commercial, non-exclusive licence to read, print, and share your story within your household. Specifically:
- You may print the PDF for personal or family use
- You may share the PDF privately with close family members
- You may not resell, republish, or distribute the story commercially
- You may not claim authorship of the story or represent it as your own original work
The Herofy Stories name, logo, brand, website, and story generation system remain our sole intellectual property. Your licence applies only to the specific story PDF delivered to you.
6. Content You Provide
By sharing details about a child during the order process, you confirm that you have the right to do as their parent, legal guardian, or with explicit parental permission.
Please do not include sensitive personal information beyond what is needed to create an enjoyable story. No addresses, school names, financial details, or any information you would not be comfortable sharing with a third-party AI service.
You are responsible for the accuracy of the details you provide. We cannot modify or regenerate a story because of incorrect details entered at checkout.
7. Refunds
Because stories are digital products generated and delivered specifically for each order, all sales are generally final. However, if your story fails to generate or cannot be delivered due to a fault on our side, you are entitled to a full refund.

8. Limitation of Liability
Herofy Stories is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid for your order.
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages of any kind.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects when changes were last made. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
